A new Food & Wine Festival is coming to Mission Viejo this year and it’s going to be a great time. The Arts Alive Festival coming this May is going to feature not only amazing entertainment but also art, culture and the new Food & Wine Festival.

The City Council approved the new festival to be added to the city’s annual Arts Alive Festival which means even more excitement can be enjoyed this spring. Here is a look at what the festival is going to feature and why you won’t want to miss it.

What to expect

The new Food & Wine Festival is going to add so much more to the current Arts Alive Festival. It’s going to feature foods from several restaurants, California wines, beer and some non-alcoholic drinks. You can enjoy great food and drink as your peruse the Arts Alive Festival’s art and culture exhibits from the 1980s as well as community collaborative projects, chalk street painting and interactive art workshops for all ages. There will be arts and craft vendors as well as live entertainment taking place.

Event details

The event will start on Saturday, May 2nd from 19am-8pm and Sunday May 3rd from noon to 5pm. Head over to the Oso Viejo Community Park on the Village Green and the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center at 24932 Veterans Way. The event will function thanks to the help of many volunteers.
