Brewfest Brewco 20th Anniversary is returning to Newport Beach this February. The Balboa Peninsula is going to feature the event to support the Surfrider Foundation. You’ll be able to enjoy locally brewed craft beer and get beer education while talking with fellow enthusiasts.
At least 12 breweries are going to make an appearance this year at the event while you enjoy a full menu and raffle prizes. Here is a look at this year’s celebration and the Brewing Company behind it.
What to expect at this year’s celebration
The Brewfest BrewCo 20th Anniversary is going to feature beer education and locally brewed craft beer to try. You’ll be able to enjoy beers from Beach City Brewing and Hoparazzi while talking about beer with other craft beer enthusiasts. Local brewers will supply unlimited samples for your complimentary pint glass. Check out a few of the brewers including:

- Artifex Brewing
- I and I Brewing
- Bootleggers Brewery
- Cismontane
- Tustin Brewing Co.
- Barley Forge Brewing
You’ll also be able to enter for raffle prizes, seasonal and limited release brews as well as try the full menu for an extra cost.
General Info
The event will take place on February 22nd from 1-5pm PST. It will take place at Newport Beach Brewing Company located at 2920 Newport Boulevard.
Tickets are only $35 for the event and proceeds will benefit the Surfrider Foundation. DD options are available for $10 at the door. You can order tickets to the event online in advance until February 21st.
Who is Newport Beach Brewing Company?
The Newport Beach Brewing Company opened in 1995 and was only the second brewery in Orange County. They set up shop in the old Delaney’s Seafood Market in the historic Cannery Village on Balboa Peninsula.
The company was the first and only brewery in Newport Beach. They make all of their beer with the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516 which states that beer can only contain barley, hops and water. Other brewers use rice and preservatives.
