The 68th Annual Newport to Ensenada Race is coming and it promises plenty of fun. This is a 125 mile overnight race that will start at the Balboa Pier. It will provide all types of adventure for the racers and fun for spectators.

There are over 50 trophy categories for this race, which makes it appealing for racers of all different levels. It's a race for the experienced pro and for the first-time racer.

The actual race will be held from April 24th to April 26th. Registration is currently open. Entry fees are $225 until April 1st and after there will be a $75 late fee added to the registration.

Events Leading up to the Race

Many events will be held between now and the dates of the race. The events you can enjoy leading up to this incredible yacht race include:

  • US Sailing Coastal Safety at Sea Seminar - February 28th from 8am to 12:30pm at the Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club
  • Pre-Race Seminar at Marina Del Ray - March 4th
  • Pre-Race Seminar at Long Beach - March 11th
  • Pre-Race Seminar at Oxnard/Ventura - March 12th
  • Pre-Race Seminar at Newport Beach - March 18th
  • Pre-Race Seminar at Sand Diego - March 25th
  • Pre-Race Seminar at Dana Point - March 26th
  • N2E Kickoff Park - April 19th
  • N2E VIP Party - April 22nd
  • N2E Race Fiesta - April 23rd

All of these events will happen before the actual race.

The Race

The race will start at Balboa Pier in Newport Beach on April 24th at 11am. It will last until April 26th and will cover a full 125 miles. The race will finish at Ensenada, Baja Mexico at 11am on April 26th. There will be a Trophy Presentation at 2pm at Hotel Coral after the race.
